In the verse ﴿أَمِ ٱرۡتَابُوٓاْ﴾, rāʼ is light in continuation and heavy when starting with the second word.

Both tafkhīm and tarqīq are allowed in ﴿فِرۡقٖ كَٱلطَّوۡدِ﴾, only in continuation.

Rāʼ is light only in pausing on the word: ﴿حِجۡرٍ﴾.

If rāʼ is non-vowelled and preceded by an incidental kasrah, it is pronounced lightly.

When it carries a fatḥah.
